If you want to help your photographer to provide you with the images of your dreams, then the photographer's time has to be used to best effect. The biggest thief of that time is your wedding guests. If they take their time, slowly gathering for their photos, that time they are wasting is the time your photographer could have used to get creative images once the formals are complete.
Ensure you have some ushers who can work with the photographer and round up guests as the photographer instructs. I like to have at least two ushers, with one gathering up the guests for the next shot, whilst I prime the other for the shot after that. When the ushers work effectively, I always have time for some great, creative shots.
